About Me
With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, my journey began as a brick mason in Chattanooga. Through dedication and hard work, I advanced to roles in estimating and project management. In 2012, I transitioned into general contracting in Atlanta, where I worked as a project manager.
In 2023, I fulfilled a long-held dream of returning to my hometown of Fyffe by purchasing Jimmy Traylor Construction, a well-established company that has been serving the community since the late 1970s.
My educational background includes an Associate's degree in Construction Management from Chattanooga State and a completion certificate from Chattanooga Masonry College. My skills and dedication were recognized when I placed first in the Southeast Regional Bricklayer Competition in Destin, Florida, in 2008, and second in the nation at the World of Masonry MCAA Skills Competition in Las Vegas the same year.
In addition to my professional achievements, I am an Eagle Scout from Tenbroeck Troop 96 and currently serve on the Board of Directors for the DeKalb County Masonry Program. These experiences have shaped my commitment to excellence and community involvement in all my projects.
